Online Passwordssss!!!

Internet has become one of the most indispensable aspects of modern life...Similarly, the Internet Passwords (pw) too...

In my early days, when I was in school, there were only few passwords, be it the 3 digits password of the briefcase or Godrej Locks...It was very easy to remember. After the era of internet, social/ professional networking, Online transactions...puufff..how many passwords to remember...

Untill few years back, remembering the pw was at least easy as the minimum number of characters used to be five or six...But now a days, It has to be minimum eight characters...on top of that they should have a number, special character, both number & special characters should not be used in the beginning or end of the pw, the pw should not b the same as user id...Grrrr...am going mad...

Just thought how many passwords do I remember...here is the list...My office PC password, Outlook Password (Which needs to be changed once in 15 days), Internal IBM, Accenture portals, Naukri login, (Both as employer & job seeker), Monster Login (Only as job seeker) gmail, yahoo, facebook, linkedin, IRCTC, ICICI bank login pw, Transaction pw, Citi Bank Credit Card pw, ATM PIN Numbers, Redbus, KSRTC, makemytrip, bookmyshow, PVR...& the list goes on...

One good thing which I always like in the login page is "Forgot password" option. I don't remember how many times I would have clicked that option in the login page. It usually happens for the sites which I don't use much or when I come back from a long vacation or leave. Again there is something called Question & Answer to retrieve the password. Funniest part is that we have to select the question & key in the answer, which I usually forget.

Internet security companies should come up with some new technology where in there shouldn't be any passwords for the login but it should also be secure enough to access your own personal data without the fear of hackers.

Till that break through happens, we have to remember the passwords...atleast the important ones...else anyways we can always use 'Forgot Passwords' option :) But remember the security question & answer to retrieve the password...
