"Varanam Aayiram"........Whatever happens, Life has to go on!!!!

I still remember those days when we went to watch movies just for fun, time pass...

then came the days when we went to watch the heros on the screens...

then came the days when we went to watch the movies because of their directors...

n then came the days when we went to watch the movies because of their Story, Screenplay & Cinematography...

One such film is Varanam Aayiram...After a great struggle for two weeks, I could manage to get a ticket for a night show...[with my mom :-) now a days, she s the only person who accompanies me for movies] With lots n lots of expectations, I was sitting in my allotted seat to watch the most awaited movie...after some couple of commercials...The movie started off with a gramaphone on the screen n a person (Suriya) singing an oooold Hindi song followed by "uravugal thodarkadhai" song...Apart from the film "GURU", this is the only film in which I liked title bgm.

The story in a nutshell - the theme of how a father often came across his son's life as a hero and inspiration, whose death was deeply mourned in the end. It may sound so childish when u read this...but watch the movie you will realize the real feel of it...The screenplay of the film is fantabulous...Its like reading a novel page by page...

Three reasons why I like this movie...(1) Gautam Menon (2) Suriya & (3) BGM & Songs (Harris Jayaraj)

Gautam Menon:

I am an avid fan of Gautham...I donno the reason...Starting from his first film 'Minnale' till his last film 'Pachai Kili Muthu Charam' Amazing works, Hats off to him!!! Name of the movie...Varanam Aayiram means 'the strength of a thousand elephants'...

really donno from where he gets these titles??? One more thing that I liked very much in the movie...the theme - Whatever happens, life has to go on!!! Amazing Theme...

Suriya:

Suriya s someone who likes to do normal things in a different way...Surya has, no doubt, scaled many dimensions in acting especially in this film, he carries the whole film in his shoulders...Starting from the introduction scene till the climax, simply superb acting...Especially when he gets onto the road in search of the Child, Aditya...

BGM & Songs:

Harris has proved that he was an assistant to AR Rahman...Amazing music...All the songs rock and his background score also is very good backed by good poetic lyrics...My favorite is "Nenjukul Peidhidum Maamazhai" & "Anajalai"...Hope to see more movies like this...

Overall...a movie worth watching...Hats off to the team...If you like this movie...then I am sure you are emotionally attached to someone in this world...may be ur dad or mom or bro or sis or wife or friend or anyone in ur life!!!!

Bang!!! Bang!!! Bang!!!

Bang! What am I doing now???
Bang Bang! Why am I doing this???
Bang Bang Bang! How should I do this otherwise???

Bang! Is this what I am supposed to do???
Bang Bang! Is that worth doing this???
Bang Bang Bang! Is this gonna help me in future???

Bang! Am I goin on the right track???
Bang Bang! If not where am i goin wrong???
Bang Bang Bang! Is there anything else to I can do to make it right???

These are the words that come to mind daily...Is this the thirst to do more or am I goin mad???

I always have some answers for all these questions...some might be true...some might be inspirational or even some might be insane...never mind...glimpse of answers!!!

"Life is filled with probabilities...
That Challenge us each day, to take chance...
Try something new; see things in different ways...
To explore the precious gifts of who we are, & what we know...go on look within...

We spend a lifetime searching for happiness,
Looking for peace...
We chase idle dreams, addictions, religion, even other people,
Hoping to fill the emptiness of that infects us...
I think the irony is that the only place where we need to search
Is within ourselves which we never do!!!!

End of the day...It’s our Life...We have to live...”

Words of Wisdom - If Life is Revesed???

I came across a nice wordings of George Costanzza - "Words of Wisdom"...Here it s!!!

"The most unfair thing about life is the way it end. I mean life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it? A Death. What's that, a Bonus?!? I think the lifecycle is all backwards. You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you go live in an old age home. You get kicked out for being too healthy, go collect your pension, then you start work, you get a gold watch on teh first day. You work forty years untill you are young enough to enjoy your retirement. You drink alcohol, you party, and get ready for High School. You go to primary school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities. You become a little boy, you go back, you spend your last 9 months floating with luxuries like central heating, spa, room service on tap, then you finish off as an orgasm!! Amen..."

The Legend Rides ON!!!

Hurray!!!!!! At last the pride is mine...

There is a new member in my family...But its a beast...A Creature...

The beast is black in colour....weighs around 200 Kgs...can run up to 120 kph on flat surface...can't fly or swim...

Yeah...I bought a brand new Royal Enfield - Bullet 350. My interest in Bullets ...took off when i was a kid.... and it grew with me and finally my thoughts and dreams of owning a Bullet came true when i bought the bike on 17th June...Now I can say "I OWN A BULLET"

Some people said it is not worth for the money that you pay!!!
Some people said it is just to Show Off!!!
Some people said it wont fit your body!!!
Even some people said its not there in the market!!!

Fed-up...huh!!! just thought of telling them "Only Boys ride Toys...&...Men ride Bullets"

There were some confusion on selecting the bike in Royal Enfield...as in to go for either Bullet 350 or Bullet Electra or Bullet Thunderbird or Bullet Machismo...

Finally opted for the BRAND NEW GOOD OLD BULLET 350...coz i still remember the bullet that my dad owned long long ago...so long ago :-)

The ride has just started!!! n till long way to go!!!

Dyslexia

Last week i was watching the movie 'Taare Zameen Par' (I think fourth time)...Such an awesome film...Directed & produced by Aamir Khan..Starring himself with Darsheel Safary (Ishaan Awasti).

Thought of writing something about Dyslexia coz somethin tickled me when I correlated my last posting - 'Request Pending' with TZP. Especially the request from Chris - 'I would like to @:-) live 900 years like in the guy in bible'. Isn't it??

& here s my research!!!

Dyslexia is a learning disability that manifest primarily as a difficulty with written language, particularly with reading and spelling... & my research goes on & on...i don't think there s enough space here to give all the details. but it was really interesting...

I was zapped when i saw the ppl who were considered dyslectic in their childhood...Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Michel Faraday, Perie Curie, Leonardo Da Vinci, Agatha Christie, John F Kennedy, George Washington, Winston Churchill, Tom Cruise, Keanu Reeves & the list again goes on & on...

Jus wondering dyslexia - is it a disability??? i don't think so...

Power of 3

hmm...one thing that i admire in this Universe....

The power of 3

wondering y??? donno the reason???

May b coz Earth s the 3rd planet n our solar system...
s it coz earth s divided into 3 parts - Core, mantle & crust...
s it coz earth s made 3 states of matter - Solid, Liquid & Gas...
r s it coz their atom s made of 3 parts - photons, electrons, & neutrons...

even i dint really donno the answer...but still i admire...

some reasons that come to my mind...

3 in Hinduism- Brahma, Vishnu & Shiva...
3 in Christianity - Trinity - in the name of father, son & the holy spirit...
3 in Islam - pilgrimage cities - Mecca, Medina & Jerusalam...

3 University degrees - Graduates, Post graduates & Doctrates...
3 Basic colours - Red, Blue & Green...
3 wickets in row in cricket - Hatrik..

I m sure 3 s not my lucky number... but still i admire the power of 3...

SAW !!!

HOW MUCH BLOOD WOULD YOU SHED TO STAY ALIVE!!!

Ths s theme of the film….

The mooost horrible movie that I saw in my entire life...

The theme of the film - Blood....flesh...bones....scream...haul....

Two men who find themselves locked in a disused bathroom with instructions for one to kill the other, or he and his family will be killed in turn...

Should see the movie n the theatre…with DTS/Dolby surround ambience…
Sure half the ppl n the theatre will die n heart attack…

Shot on a smaller budget of about US$1.2 million, it earned over $55 million at the box office in the U.S. alone and $102,917,772 worldwide… Isn’t that too huge…
